One of India’s largest agro companies engaged in manufacturing micronutrients, fertilizers, and customized nutritional solutions for plants and animals. Operating across domestic and international markets with a  network of distributors, agencies, and retailers.

The Context

The organisation sought to reimagine how they motivate their B2B trader and merchant network across the country. With thousands of regional partners, they needed a mechanism to drive purchase behaviour whilst creating memorable experiences at their flagship annual event—where the grand prize was a Harley Davidson motorbike—and throughout year-round regional activations.

The Challenge

Previously, the company relied on manual methods.

  • Dealers and retailers earned coupons based on stock lifting and early payments
  • The team managed all data using Excel spreadsheets
  • Traders’ names were printed on chits, drawn from a fishbowl, and winners announced one by one.

Whilst straightforward, this approach was dated, time-consuming, and operationally cumbersome. Reconciliation required extensive manual effort, spreadsheets, and administrative overhead.
